VCDC Administrator
My name is Amber, I am the Childcare Administrator at VCDC! I started here in June 2019, starting as the Director and moving to Administrator in 2023. I have been working with children in various capacities since 2012, and have been in Childcare Leadership since 2016. I love working with children, staff and families and am grateful to have the ability to watch children grow and provide a fun, safe, quality childcare for them to spend their time. It is my pleasure to find new ways to bring new experiences for learning to VCDC!
I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Non-Profit Management Certificate from UW-Parkside and about halfway through a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I also have a Leadership Degree through the University of Indiana.

I started working here in September of 2021 as a Daycare Teacher in the one year old age group and discovered that I did have a passion for childcare! I became the Program Director in September 2023. Prior to childcare, I built my career in the restaurant industry climbing the ladder up to General Manager. My husband and I have three children. As a family we enjoy being outside and going on adventures and getting together with our extended family and friends!
I am fortunate to have met lots of families here at VCDC and already share many memories with the children!
